API - choice column: multiple selection

Is it possible to select multiple options in a choice column when completing it via API? I am able to edit the value in the choice column but only selecting one of the possible values, I'd like to select more than one.

    Also, properties "id" = -1, and "label" populated with text (max. length 255) if wanting "Other". See Note #5 in old doco.
