iSheet search via API by fileID

Hello, 

I am trying an advanced search via API filtering by docid (it is a file metadata isheet). The body of the call is the following:

{ "data":{ "item":[{ "column":[{ "sequence":"1", "attributecolumnid":"547", "rawdata":{ "documents":{ "document": [ { "docid": "792" } ] }}}]}]}} }]}

However, in the response I do not get the record with that docid (792) but all the records in that view. How could I only get the record that matches that docid?

  • Maria Sarra, you cannot use advanced search this way to find the corresponding iSheet record, for a particular document.

    You need to use the following two API calls:

    1. getIsheetRecordID
    2. getISheetItem

    The first call will return you back the itemID of the requested fileID (docID), which you can then use with the second call to get the iSheet item (File iSheet Meta0data)
