Dear HighQ Team,
We often have the problem that with ”Choice” columns with many options, users often access the other column to enter their own option, even though a corresponding choice already exists.
This leads to the unevaluability of the data, because, for example, it would have to be checked manually whether it is a minor deviation in the spelling or whether it is actually a new, separate entry. We then have to manually improve the data, which can be tricky, as the person improving the data often doesn’t know the story behind similar entries.
We believe it would be helpful feature if the entry in the “Other” field would be automatically compared to the list of existing choices and if an entry is e.g. 90% identical to an existing choice the user be somehow informed about the existing choice(s) upon entering/Saving.
Is such a mechanism already planned somehow?
