Easiest way to manage code files?

Just curious to see what everyone is using, but wondering how you all are managing code files for apps run in HighQ sites? Are you uploading to the system admin files library section? Do you find it easy to replace files manually there on each code change when testing? Are there other ways like an API or FTP?

  • Public if you know the link, though since they have to be run in the context of our HighQ and specific sites then they are kind of useless on their own.

    E.g we reference say:

    https://some-thing.azurewebsites.net/highq/product/app.js

    Then in that JS file it requires objects that are only defined on the HighQ site itself, such as:

    var caseSheet = {

    id: 4000,

    viewId: 50000,

    }

    So on the HighQ site it would be like

    var caseSheet = {

    id: 4000,

    viewId: 50000,

    }

    You could lockdown resources though if a specific client had that audit requirement, by creating a specific file hosting for them and IP restricting it. Obviously this doesn't scale for all the generic resources (Depending on your client base)
