API - How to check if a folder is in the deleted items bin?

Using the API how can I check this? If I use the /api/2/folders/folderID I can see a <location> with contents start start with "Deleted items &gt; ". Do I check this or is there a better way?

  • Hmm that is a fair point. That process sounds right but then again if you have the folder ID maybe checking its location is the best way forward? I haven't worked with the recycle bin much at all unfortunately.
