Feature Request - upload file to multiple folders

Our user has a single document that needs to be uploaded to multiple case/plaintiff document folders (e.g. case order for multiple plaintiffs) - we would like to be able to do this in a single operation (i.e. select the file to be uploaded, then select the folders that it is to be uploaded to), instead of on a folder-by-folder basis

  • Managing it sounds like it will be a nightmare (what if an update needs to be made?). But probably the use of a custom web app + highq API will solve it. One way to do it is to create a helper isheet with say 10 folder picker columns (if you know you will upload to at 10 most folder). Also add a file upload column (or use attachments) and set a choice column [yes/no/processing


    But even this sounds like it will take the same time as just uploading it manually in each folder... ]]>

  • Yeah, you'll want to look at building this with API integration and having something that manages synchronising the document upload - we've built something similar to integrate with our internal document management system and it a fair amount of developer time, excluding the time taken to create the library we previously built to integrate with HighQ. I think you're looking at a fair project to do this.
