Currently the card view in the tasks module doesn't retain the same conditionality / view settings that have been assigned to list view. 

This means that whilst a person can limit a task meta data view to only show a certain number of tasks assigned to just one person under a user lookup (me), when they switch to card view all of the tasks suddenly become viewable, thus creating privacy issues. I've raised a ticket and i've been informed that the best way to get this functionality is to raise a feature request, and i would be grateful if this could eventually be addressed.
