DocuSign Signature Placement

Is there a way to indicate where a signature should be placed using the Document Automation tools (or other api), rather than prompting the user at the time they send the document?

  • This would be very helpful, but I don't think it is possible... yet. The goal would be to have end to end automation involving Contract Express and Docusign, so that you don't need to manually indicate using Docusign where the signature should go but simply provide Docusign with the names/email addresses of the signers collected during the CE interview process (or in an isheet) and Docusign will know where the signature blocks go.
