Ability to copy views

We have a requirement of creating lots of the same view with many fields with different filter criteria. There isn't a way to duplicate or make a copy of a view. 

I have to use a bit of a hacky way of inspecting the element of the current view, and copying the code to the element of the new view and then set the filters as required, but it would be nice to have a built in method of duplicating views

  • You could use the API to create the views if you are making lots and the columns are very similar.

  • Ryan McDonough Yeah, that is what I will potentially be attempting. But it was more a case of, what if you wasn't experienced enough in code to interface with the API, surely there should be a built in method to copy/duplicate views.
